What visitors ask us most before their trip

Do I need a visa to visit Morocco?

Citizens of the US, UK, EU, and many other countries can enter Morocco visa-free for up to 90 days. Check your specific nationality with the nearest Moroccan consulate before booking.

What's the best time of year to visit?

Spring (March–May) and fall (September–November) offer the most comfortable weather. Summer can get very hot inland and in the desert, while winter is mild on the coast but cold in the Atlas Mountains.

How do I get around between cities?

The ONCM train network connects major cities like Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, and Fes comfortably and affordably. For smaller towns or the desert, intercity buses (CTM, Supratours) or a private driver are your best options.

What currency is used, and can I pay by card?

Morocco uses the Moroccan Dirham (MAD), which can’t be exchanged outside the country. Cards are accepted in most hotels and larger shops, but carry cash for souks, taxis, and small restaurants.

Is Morocco safe for tourists?

Morocco is generally safe and welcoming to tourists. As in any destination, stay alert in crowded medinas, agree on prices before services, and avoid unofficial guides who approach you on the street.

What should I pack, and how should I dress?
